B.00 Pricing and how to buy
Exactly what you get, and exactly what a unit is.
Tracepoint is licensed per reporting entity, per year, at a firm fixed price, in eight tiers that follow the echelons a buyer already belongs to. Nothing is counted per seat, per user, per download, per workstation, or per record. Every entitlement is listed on this page.
- Section1 organization$5,900per year
- CompanyUp to 5 organizations$9,900per year
- BattalionUp to 10 organizations$14,900per year
- BrigadeUp to 50 organizations$62,500per year
- InstallationUp to 300 organizations$195,000per year
- CommandUp to 1,000 organizations$345,000per year
- DepartmentOne military department, unlimited organizations$2,950,000per year
- Department of DefenseThe whole Department, unlimited organizations$4,500,000per year
B.01 The unit
The license unit is one reporting entity.
Everything else in the price follows from this one definition, so it comes first and it is stated precisely. Each tier covers a stated number of reporting entities, called organizations in the tier table because that is what they are.
The organization named on the artifacts the product produces: the section, company, battalion, brigade, field activity, or office that owns the findings being remediated and answers for their corrective action plans. If one organization holds one findings register and reports on it as one body, that is one reporting entity.
Count the organizations that will appear as the reporting entity on a Tracepoint package. Each distinct one is a unit. A supply room that remediates its own findings is one. A battalion whose headquarters and five companies each own their own findings and each produce their own packages is six.
It is not a person, a seat, a login, a workstation, a download, a workspace file, a finding, a corrective action, an evidence item, or a package. None of those is counted or priced.
The customer states the number of reporting entities and selects the tier that covers it. Tracepoint runs with no accounts and no telemetry, so the count is the customer's own, and the license takes it as stated.
Anyone who uses the software within the licensed organizations. People are unlimited at every tier. There are no named users, no accounts, and no logins. A person works under a profile inside a workspace, and the profile is what the trail records.
One copy of the application file set on one workstation. Workstation copies are unlimited at every tier. Installing is copying files. There is no activation and no license key.
One file holding one set of findings, corrective actions, evidence, and the trail. A workstation can hold any number of workspaces. Each workspace has one holder at a time, which keeps the trail a single unbroken record.
Findings, corrective actions, milestones, evidence items, property lines, scan results, exports, and packages are unlimited at every tier. The product was measured at 10,000 findings to a 50-artifact package in 7.5 seconds on one laptop, on each of three runs.
B.02 The ladder
Eight tiers. The software is identical in all of them.
The only things that change between tiers are the number of organizations covered and the purchase path that fits. Each tier is named for the echelon that buys it.
| Tier | Who it is | Organizations covered | Annual price | How it is bought |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Section | 8 to 12 soldiers under a staff sergeant. A special reaction team, a military police desk, a motor pool, an arms room, a supply room. | 1 | $5,900 | Unit purchase card |
| Company | A company, battery, troop, or detachment under a captain. | Up to 5 | $9,900 | Unit purchase card |
| Battalion | 400 to 1,000 soldiers under a lieutenant colonel, with its own staff. | Up to 10 | $14,900 | Purchase card, under the $15,000 micro-purchase threshold |
| Brigade | 3,000 to 5,000 soldiers under a colonel. Three to five battalions. | Up to 50 | $62,500 | Simplified acquisition |
| Installation | One base and every tenant unit on it. Fort Cavazos, Camp Pendleton, Norfolk. Sold to the senior mission commander or the garrison. | Up to 300 | $195,000 | Simplified acquisition |
| Command | A division, corps, Marine expeditionary force, major command, Defense agency, or combatant command. Several installations. | Up to 1,000 | $345,000 | Simplified acquisition, under the $350,000 threshold |
| Department | One military department: the Army, the Navy with the Marine Corps, or the Air Force with the Space Force. Every command, installation, and unit in it. | Unlimited | $2,950,000 | SDVOSB sole source, full contract, or Tradewinds |
| Department of Defense | The whole Department, bought once for every military department, Defense agency, and field activity. The Comptroller's tier. | Unlimited | $4,500,000 | SDVOSB sole source under the $5,000,000 ceiling, full contract, or Tradewinds |
| The same prices, divided | Section | Company | Battalion | Brigade | Installation | Command | Department | DoD |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Per month | $491.67 | $825.00 | $1,241.67 | $5,208.33 | $16,250.00 | $28,750.00 | $245,833.33 | $375,000.00 |
| Per organization, when fully used | $5,900 | $1,980 | $1,490 | $1,250 | $650 | $345 | n/a | n/a |
Per-month and per-organization figures are the annual price divided, shown so a buyer can compare. The license is sold and invoiced annually.
On the Department and Department of Defense tiers: A headquarters view across every organization under one licence is delivered in the maturation plan; today each organization runs its own workspace and packages roll up by file.

B.03 Why these numbers
Each rung is priced so that a formation buys once, at its own level.
Each step is several rungs of the one below
A brigade license is 4.2 battalion licenses. An installation license is 3.1 brigade licenses. A command license is 1.8 installation licenses. A military department is about 8.6 command licenses, and the whole Department is about 1.5 military departments. A formation that buys at its own level gets one license, one renewal, its headquarters covered, and every subordinate organization inside the count.
The first three rungs stay on the card
Section, Company, and Battalion are all under the $15,000 micro-purchase threshold, because that is how a section chief or a battalion commander actually buys. Command is set at $345,000, the highest price that still moves under FAR Part 13, so a division G8 can award it on a purchase order in weeks.
The two Department tiers are priced against what departments pay
A military department buys through a contract or a Tradewinds award in any case, so the threshold does not apply. DFAS pays about $4 million a year for its Diligent subscription and the Air Force about $4 million a year for Xacta support, from the awards recorded on this page. The whole Department is priced just under the $5 million ceiling so that a sole-source award to an SDVOSB stays open to the Comptroller.
A division can buy Command for itself, and the base it sits on can buy Installation for every tenant. Where both exist on one post, the higher tier absorbs the lower at the lower tier's next renewal, and the unused months of the lower license are credited against the higher one. The same roll-up applies when sections and companies fold into a battalion license, or battalions into a brigade.
B.04 Worked examples
Three worked examples.
The same arithmetic a resource manager would do, with the numbers filled in.
A battalion with six companies
The headquarters and six companies each own their findings, so the count is seven. The Battalion tier covers up to ten organizations at $14,900, bought on a government purchase card under the $15,000 micro-purchase threshold. Per organization that is $2,128.57 for the year, and three more companies could be added at no change in price.
An installation with four brigades
A garrison buys for every tenant on the post: four brigades, their battalions and companies, and the garrison's own directorates, 190 organizations in all. The Installation tier covers up to 300 at $195,000. Four separate Brigade licenses would cost $250,000, cover only 200 organizations, and leave the garrison outside the count.
A corps across three installations
A corps headquarters, two divisions, and their supporting units on three posts, about 700 organizations. The Command tier covers up to 1,000 at $345,000, under the $350,000 simplified acquisition threshold. Three Installation licenses would cost $585,000. Sole source to an SDVOSB is available up to $5,000,000.
B.05 Add-ons
Optional add-ons, each firm-fixed-price.
None of these is required to use the product. They let a buyer grow the engagement without changing the license model. Each is priced by the unit shown. Training and escrow sit under the micro-purchase threshold, so a battalion can add either on the same card as its license.
| Add-on | Unit | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Deployment assistance, remote | Up to 8 hours | $12,500 |
| Training, remote | Up to 25 people per session | $7,500 |
| Data onboarding: map and import an existing findings register | One register | $18,500 |
| On-site support | Per day, plus travel | $4,500 |
| Source code escrow, established and maintained | Per year | $7,500 |
| Annual health check, remote | One day, Installation tier and above | $6,500 |
B.06 Never charged
What is never charged.
There are no accounts to count, and a product built so that nothing leaves the machine does not meter the people using it.
Copying the file set to another workstation costs nothing at any tier.
Usage-based pricing creates an unpredictable bill, and it would penalize an organization for doing more of the work the product exists to support.
There is none to sell. The data stays on the customer's machine.
All included in every tier for the whole term.
The live demo on this site is the full product with synthetic data and costs nothing. A license is what an organization buys to run it on its own work with support behind it.
B.07 How to buy
How a buyer actually buys this.
Every path below is one a contracting officer already knows, and the tiers are sized to fit them.
For the Section, Company, and Battalion tiers we offer terms sized for a purchase-card buy: no indemnification clause, no automatic renewal, and no arbitration clause, consistent with FAR 13.202. Renewal is a new purchase decision.
A non-exclusive license to use the software for government purposes within the licensed organizations. Tracepoint is commercial computer software. There is no restriction on workstation copies, users, or workspaces at any tier. There is no license key and no activation; the product carries no licensing mechanism.
The application file set with its published SHA-256 integrity manifest, the documentation, the threat model, the benchmark report, and the package standard. Delivery is a file transfer. There is no installer, no service, and no key.
Scheduled releases quarterly. Corrections for defects that stop work are released as soon as they are ready and are never held for a scheduled window. Every release carries its own integrity manifest.
A&R Strategic Solutions, LLC, is registered in SAM.gov with a CAGE code and UEI, and holds SBA SDVOSB and VOSB certification, entered August 2026. Ask for the identifiers and we will send them the same day.

How to read these figures
A GSA Advantage price belongs to one contractor's schedule contract. The same item can carry a different price under a different contract, and Xacta 360 Small does: $133,658.35 under the GSA 2GIT BPA.
Some prices are per operator per month, some are perpetual with a project cap, and some do not define their unit at all. Tracepoint's unit is one reporting entity per year, defined at the top of this page.
Paramify is the only vendor in this set with list prices on its own website. Tracepoint publishes every tier and every entitlement here.
Every row is traced to its page in the competitive landscape document, with the contract number and the retrieval date.
B.09 Questions
The questions a contracting officer asks, answered in order.
Q.01Can a cardholder buy without a contracting action?
Yes, for the Section, Company, and Battalion tiers. All three are under the $15,000 micro-purchase threshold, and the terms we offer for them carry no indemnification clause, no automatic renewal, and no arbitration clause, consistent with FAR 13.202. Renewal is a new purchase decision.
Q.02What exactly is counted?
One thing: the reporting entity, meaning each organization named on the packages the product produces. Each tier covers a stated number of them. People, workstation copies, workspaces, findings, evidence items, exports, and packages are never counted or priced.
Q.03Which tier do I buy if I am a tenant on a base?
The tier for your own echelon. If the installation later buys for every tenant, or your parent command buys for every installation, the higher tier absorbs yours at your next renewal and your unused months are credited against it.
Q.04Is a sole-source award available?
A&R Strategic Solutions, LLC, is an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), certified August 2026, so a contracting officer can award sole source up to $5 million where the conditions at FAR 19.1406 are met. Any tier can be bought this way, including both Department tiers and multi-year at the same annual price. The Department of Defense tier is priced under the ceiling for exactly this reason.
Q.05What is delivered, and how?
The application file set with its published SHA-256 integrity manifest, the documentation, the threat model, the benchmark report, and the package standard. Delivery is a file transfer. There is no installer, no service, no activation, and no key.
Q.06Does it need an Authority to Operate or FedRAMP?
Neither. Tracepoint has no server component and no cloud service. It runs under each organization's own software approval process, applied to a file set whose integrity manifest is published, and FedRAMP does not apply because there is nothing hosted to authorize.
Q.07Who owns the data, and what happens when the license ends?
Everything the customer creates is the customer's without restriction, and the product transmits none of it to anyone. When a license ends, the organization keeps a perpetual no-cost right to run the last delivered version to open and export its own workspaces.
Q.08What does the price do at renewal?
The same tier price applies. Any increase is capped at the lesser of 3% or the change in CPI. Updates, support, documentation, and every interoperability export are included for the whole term at every tier.
Q.09Can it hold Controlled Unclassified Information?
Tracepoint is for unclassified information only. CUI stays on the machine and inside the package, under the organization's own handling rules, because nothing leaves the machine.
